Job Description

This is a remote position.

A global technology company seeks to employ a remote Appointment Setter - Outbound B2B on a fixed term contract. You will play a critical part of their sales engine: making high-volume outbound calls to business prospects, engaging decision-makers, qualifying opportunities, and booking meetings. You will be working closely with the Sales Manager to ensure a healthy pipeline of qualified leads.

Responsibilities
  • Make outbound calls to target companies/prospects to initiate contact, build interest and set appointments.
  • Engage with decision-makers (managers, directors, executives) to identify needs and secure commitment for further conversation.
  • Qualify leads based on criteria such as company size, budget, authority, need, and timing.
  • Schedule and hand off meetings/appointments to the sales team, ensuring calendar invites, confirmations and all required details are provided.
  • Maintain and update accurate records of all calls, conversations, outcomes and next-steps in the CRM system.
  • Achieve and/or exceed daily/weekly/monthly KPIs such as number of calls, conversations, appointments booked, show-rate etc.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to refine scripts, outreach messaging and lead lists for better conversion.
  • Handle objections professionally, adapt your approach, and remain persistent and resilient in face of rejection.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in outbound telesales, B2B calling, appointment setting or a closely related role.
  • Excellent verbal communication and phone presence; able to engage prospects quickly, confidently and professionally.
  • Proven ability to speak with decision-makers and establish rapport over the phone.
  • Strong organisational skills: able to manage lead lists, follow-ups, multiple tasks and maintain accuracy in CRM.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and experience logging calls/outcomes.
  • Self motivated, resilient and used to working in a performance driven environment (cold calls, handling objections).
  • Fluent in English (or other language if relevant to your market) with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Comfortable working in quiet environment/remote setup or specify office shift and maintaining professionalism on calls.
