Bindery Manager - North West - £32k - £38k (depending on experience)
Job Description
A company which has a long-standing reputation for high quality print printing is seeking a Bindery Manager to join a strong team with a wealth of experience. We are looking for someone with a high degree of initiative, who can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, to achieve maximum productivity in the context of quality output from our client's bindery equipment. To apply for this role, you must have experience in a supervisory/managerial role and be confident in your capability of ensuring bindery operators finish each job in a timely fashion with the highest quality possible.
Key responsibilities:- Supervise daily operations to ensure efficiency in workflow
- Promote safe working conditions through equipment maintenance, housekeeping and ensuring all safety procedures are adhered to
- Develop and maintain procedures and techniques to reduce process variation and manufacturing delays
- Collaborate with other production department leaders to maintain productivity and quality
- Monitor production output and respond to errors appropriately
- Analyse production data to identify trends and develop long range plans
- Promote quality across all bindery operations and all shifts, closely monitoring work and engaging with operators
- Hire, train and develop, and supervise staff to meet department and company objectives
