Red Ember Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Executive on behalf of our client in Bloemfontein and Elandsfontein within the Services Industry.
The successful candidate will contribute to refining and enhancing the company's current and future sales and marketing strategy, while actively driving new business acquisition and revenue growth.
Brief Role DescriptionTo contribute to the ongoing refinement and enhancement of sales and marketing strategy while actively pursuing and securing new business opportunities.
- Actively search, pursue, and engage potential clients.
- Maintain knowledge of existing contracts and attend weekly meetings with Regional General Managers and Operations Managers.
- Manage the compilation and, where necessary, draft high-quality proposals, bids, and tender responses.
- Follow up and survey leads generated through various channels, including cold calling.
- Ensure tenders and bids are submitted professionally, timeously, and in a compliant manner.
- Engage and manage strategic suppliers providing solution and commercial input for proposals and tenders.
- Identify weaknesses in the sales process and implement corrective improvements.
- Follow up on cancelled contracts and identify re engagement opportunities.
- Implement and manage strategic initiatives to ensure annual growth targets are achieved and exceeded.
- Achieve monthly sales budgets through effective implementation of sales and marketing strategy.
- Utilise the full marketing mix in marketing communications initiatives.
- Provide comprehensive weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports.
- Bachelor's Degree / National Diploma in Sales, Business Development, or Marketing
- Matric (Senior Certificate)
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum 3 Years Solid Experience in Business Development within a Sales Environment
- Exposure within the Services Industry advantageous
