Are you ready to take your CNC setting skills to the next level? Look no further! We have an exciting opportunity for two talented CNC Setters to join a thriving organization.

Our client is a leader in precision engineering, pushing the boundaries of innovation and delivering exceptional results. As a CNC Setter, you'll play a crucial role in their manufacturing process, ensuring the flawless operation of their state-of-the-art machinery.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Set up and prepare CNC machines for production, ensuring proper tooling, fixtures, and programs are in place.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of machine setups, making adjustments as necessary to achieve optimal performance and precision.
  • Interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings to program CNC machines accurately.
  • Monitor production processes, performing regular quality checks to guarantee adherence to specifications and tolerances.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that may arise, ensuring minimal downtime and maximizing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, sharing your expertise and contributing to our continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements

Candidate Requirements:

Matric (Required) and Trade: Fitting & Turning / Millwright (Preferred)

Setting and operating CNC turning & milling machines (Required)

Confident reading technical drawings and performing tool changes and offsets.

Proven CNC Setting experience, ideally with both milling and turning machines.

Competent in reading and understanding basic G-code / machine Programs (Required).

Ability to edit programs (bonus).

Experience with Fanuc controls (Advantage), preferably Doosan, Puma and Haas machines with live tooling, "Millturns".

Able to maintain high standards of quality and dimensional accuracy (high tolerances).

Must come from a high volume production environment.

Working Hours:

Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 19:00 - 05:30

Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 07:00 - 16:00; Friday, 07:00 - 13:00

Salary & Benefits:

Hourly Rate: R90.00 & Night Shift Allowance
