Monthly Basic Salary (Market related, Negotiable)
Our client based in Pinetown, New Germany is seeking a Qualified Turner Machinist Or Semi Skilled Machinist, with experience to join their team. The ideal candidate must be able to work on conventional lathes and mills.
Duties- Able to operate conventional milling machine and lathes
- Good understanding of manufacturing
- Strong grasp of tolerances, feed rates and cutting speeds
- Able to read drawings
- Able to work from samples
- Able to use all measuring equipment
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
- Ability to work well with a team and independently when required
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Matric with relevant qualifications
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to be punctual
- Strong on conventional Lathe
- Milling experience
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of an experienced turner, reading drawings, working from samples, etc
