Monthly Basic Salary (Market related, Negotiable)

Our client based in Pinetown, New Germany is seeking a Qualified Turner Machinist Or Semi Skilled Machinist, with experience to join their team. The ideal candidate must be able to work on conventional lathes and mills.

Duties
  • Able to operate conventional milling machine and lathes
  • Good understanding of manufacturing
  • Strong grasp of tolerances, feed rates and cutting speeds
  • Able to read drawings
  • Able to work from samples
  • Able to use all measuring equipment
  • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
  • Ability to work well with a team and independently when required
  • Willingness to learn new skills
Requirements
  • Matric with relevant qualifications
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to be punctual
  • Strong on conventional Lathe
  • Milling experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of an experienced turner, reading drawings, working from samples, etc
