Core Banking Technical Solution Analyst

The Core Banking Technical Solution Analyst translates complex business and functional requirements into Finacle-aligned technical solutions and designs. The role acts as a bridge between business, architecture and engineering, ensuring solutions are feasible, well-designed and aligned to Investec's core banking strategy. A key aspect of the role is the ability to design integrations to Investec's existing strategic and legacy systems - working through APIs, abstraction layers and messaging to ensure robust, secure and maintainable end-to-end solutions across channels, core banking and downstream platforms.

• Analyse and refine business, product and regulatory requirements into clear solution designs and functional specifications for Finacle and surrounding systems.
• Perform impact analysis across channels, integrations, data and downstream systems for new products, features and regulatory changes.
• Design and document integrations between Finacle and existing strategic or legacy systems within Investec, using agreed patterns (APIs, events, messaging, batch).
• Produce and maintain solution artefacts: process/sequence diagrams, interface contracts, data mappings, non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, integration teams, data engineers, testers and vendors to ensure solution feasibility and alignment to standards.
• Support Agile delivery squads with ongoing clarification during build, test and release, including input into test strategy and edge-case scenarios.
• Embed operational considerations (monitoring, logging, batch, supportability) into design from the outset.

• 8-12 years in Technology / Business Systems / Solution Analysis, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Hands on exposure to a core banking platform (Finacle strongly preferred) across multiple modules (accounts, deposits, lending, payments, etc.).
• Proven experience designing solutions in a complex, integrated environment, including integrations with legacy and strategic systems.
• Experience of working on large change programmes such as core banking migration, major product launches or regulatory change.

• Strong understanding of core banking concepts (customer, account, product, interest, fees, limits, payments; cards/lending exposure is a plus).
• Finacle modules expertise and familiarity with configuration and integration patterns.
• Solution mapping and API specification (REST/JSON, SOAP/XML), including interface and data contract design.
• Integration design experience with abstraction layers, enterprise APIs, messaging and batch interfaces to existing Investec systems.
• Confident in UML/modelling (process flows, sequence and component diagrams) and comfortable using SQL/data analysis for validation and investigation.

• Strong requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation and documentation skills.
• Able to simplify complexity, articulate options and trade-offs, and influence decisions.
• Collaborative, relationship-driven and comfortable working across regions, teams and disciplines.
