About the position

In this role, you will provide directday-to-day support to the customer and internal teams. You will ssist withincreasing SSAB's market share in the region by servicing existing and newprospective customers. You'll be part of a team that is responsible for theSouthern Africa region and its growth, by maintaining professional yetpersonalized customer experience.
This role is based on-site in the office.

Main responsibilities
  • Develop new sales opportunities through inboundlead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Build strong relationships with existing &new customers, providing product advice & technical support within scope ofthe role. Preparing relevant quotations and sales orders.
  • Field all telephonic and email relatedEnquires, prepare relevant quotes and other admin task related to accountmanagement.
  • Drive regional related goals and strategies byaligning offers and proposals to selected customers.
  • Accomplishes department and organization goalsby driving overall customer experience. Remains knowledgeable and up to date onchanges, new products and developments in SSAB and the industries in which wesupport.
  • Works closely with other functions, especiallyRegional Sales Managers, to maintain a high level of professionalism.
About You
  • South African Matric.
  • 1 - 4+ years of experience performing sales(inside or outside)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communicationskills in English.
  • Extremely organized, Excellent computerproficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • You must be able to work under pressure andmeet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplarycustomer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as a teammember to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructionsgiven, prescribed routines.
  • Strong attention to details, analyticalskills, exceptional judgment, dependable, excellent teamwork skills, good timemanagement skills, creative, problem-solving, hardworking & persistent,professional competence, proactive.
