FIELD SUPPORT TECHNICIAN - SAFETY & SECURITY SOLUTIONS (BURGERSFORT, STEELPOORT & LYDENBURG)

A skilled and motivated Field Support Technician is required to provide installation, technical support, and aftersales service for specialised access controlled products within the mining sector. The role involves regular travel to client sites, on site troubleshooting, customer training, and remote support. The successful candidate must be medically fit and able to meet mining site compliance requirements. Full product training will be provided.

Requirements
  • Matric
  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum 5 years' IT experience
  • Networking experience
  • Experience with Microsoft operating systems
  • Strong fault finding and troubleshooting ability
  • Helpdesk and customer support experience
  • Ability to work extended hours and standby when required
  • Medically fit to work on mining sites and able to pass relevant medicals and inductions
Advantageous
  • Mining Competency B
  • Electronics or PC hardware experience and/or certifications
