Finance & Budget Officers (x2) - Pietermaritzburg

Our client within the non-profit environment is seeking two experienced Finance and Budget Officers to join their team.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, maintain, and analyse monthly financial reports and budgets, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines
  • Monitor and manage various projects and organisational budgets
  • Ensure accurate monthly allocation of expenditure and income
  • Prepare journals and perform reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with organisational and project-specific procurement, financial, and operational policies
  • Provide accurate financial forecasting aligned with project milestones and timelines
  • Support audit processes at both organisational and project levels
Requirements
  • A relevant 3-year diploma/degree, or currently studying towards one
  • Strong financial and administrative background, with a minimum of 3-4 years' experience in an admin/accounting role
  • Computer literacy with strong organisational, analytical, and reconciliation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexible and able to respond efficiently to changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Sage 300 (Accpac) will be an advantage
  • Must have own transport
