Financial Accountant - Matatiele (Hybrid)Our client in the meat and retail industry is looking for an experienced Financial Accountant with exceptional attention to detail to join their team in Matatiele.
Responsibilities- Processing invoices and reconciling with purchase orders and goods receipts
- Processing the daily cash books and petty cash
- Overseeing the daily cash office work
- Balancing the trade accounts between Arch and Pastel
- HP monthly processing
- Month end journals
- Management accounts
- Monitor aging reports and ensure timely payments
- Manage the loading of vendor payments and account details
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations
- Monitor and update debtor and credit applications and information
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting / Finance
- Proven experience in accounts payable, receivable, and bookkeeping roles
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Pastel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
