• Ensure that the forklift is in good working condition by completing the checklist before operating the machine.
• Report damages or faults to the Line Manager.
• Ensure correct stock is picked and loaded by checking quantity, quality, description, manufacturing date and best before date.
• Count and record the number of pallets loaded.
• Ensure pallets at the pallet area are sorted by colour code and in a safe manner.
• Load finished goods, raw materials and packaging.
• Offload delivery trucks, check paperwork against stock on the truck, and use Foods Connect device to record.
• Transfer finished goods to allocated space in the warehouse.
• Move product to correct allocation during changeovers.
• Transfer products to bays and check that they are allocated to correct bays.
• Remove damaged boxes and repack pallets.
• Record damages in the book.
