Our Cape Joy team is looking for a Guest Relations Officer, you will play an integral role in our daily operations, ensuring every guest experience is seamless and memorable from arrival to departure. Key responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff to ensure rooms and facilities are maintained to the highest standard.
• Prepare and serve breakfast for guests in the mornings, ensuring quality and attention to detail.
• Manage reservations and guest communications using Nightbridge.
• Handle invoices and basic financial administration with Zoho Books.
• Assist guests with queries, requests, and local recommendations to enhance their stay.
• Arrange guest transport (e.g., airport transfers, local travel) with trusted service providers.
• Assist in marketing and sales initiatives (social media marketing, promotions and advertisements).

• Must have own reliable transport to and from work.
• Hospitality graduates or students with at least 6 months' practical training in a hotel or guest house environment.
• Experience with Nightbridge and Zoho Books will be a strong advantage.
• Computer literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing top-quality service.
• Flexible and willing to work shifts.
• Best suited for candidates residing in Plattekloof or surrounding areas.
