Job Title :Junior CAD and Lighting Designer

Location : Johannesburg

Reports to : Design Dept. Manager

Regent Lighting is looking for a motivated and passionate designer who is detail oriented and demonstrates a strong interest in lighting and is eager to be part of a dynamic design team.

Qualification:

Interior Design or CAD qualification

Job Purpose:

• Produce AutoCAD layout drawings, material lists, and other required design documentation as needed, in line with project briefs and timelines.
• Communication with sales representatives and other designers to get the correct information for projects.
• Daily communication with the Design team will be expected, to review the workload situation and personal project list.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Ability to read 2D & 3D architectural drawings or models (plans, elevations, sections)
• Familiarity with the following software: Microsoft Suite, Microsoft Teams, AutoCAD & Revit
• Be able to work under pressure
• Keen to learn new skills - Dialux
• Must have good communication skills
