Job Description
Durban South. An established and reputable business within the recycling and waste management industry is seeking a motivated Junior Commercial Rep / Buyer to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with strong people skills and a keen interest in buying and commercial operations. Previous buying experience will be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Buying of all recycling materials across both scrap and paper divisions
- Maintain and manage existing client accounts
- Coordinate and book collections of scrap and recycling (logistics support)
- Assist with new business development over time
- Manage pricing with clients
- Prepare schedules and volume reports for accounts
- Provide weekly feedback on industry trends and market-related concerns
