ROLE DESCRIPTION: Sygnia is the fastest-growing multi-management company in South Africa. Join this dynamic company by becoming a part of their Employee Benefits Administration team as a Junior Employee Benefits Claims Administrator.

Duties and Daily Responsibilities
  • Checking documentation received for benefit claims is complete and following up on outstanding documentation.
  • Disinvestment and payment of all types of claims within the required turnaround times (e.g. divorce, death, retirement etc.).
  • Applications for tax directives from SARS.
  • Following up promptly where tax has failed.
  • Updating claim notes on workflows directly onto Everest.
  • Monitor workflow reports daily.
  • Scanning and archiving physical documents in the department.
  • Capturing nomination of beneficiary forms onto Everest.
  • Working closely with all relevant parties, e.g. internal and external consultants, administrators, management, fund accountants etc.
  • Assisting members, consultants and other stakeholders with queries via both email and telephone.
Role Qualifications and Experience
  • Matric is essential, as a minimum requirement.
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Outlook.

  • Must be fluent and articulate in English. Strong communication skills are essential - both written and verbal
