We are looking for an experienced Brokerand Franchise Manager to join our team and take charge of growing andsupporting our broker and franchise distribution channels. In this pivotalrole, you will be responsible for developing strategies that drive businessgrowth, ensuring compliance, and managing key relationships to achieve businessobjectives. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior management todevelop and execute a comprehensive broker and franchise strategy aligned withthe company's goals.
- Design operational strategies to attractonboard and retain suitable brokers and franchises.
- Set KPIs for growth, including broker recruitment andbusiness volume targets, and monitor progress.
- Develop processes in collaboration withinternal teams (ICT, Insurance Operations) to provide seamless support tobrokers and franchisees.
- Create and maintain a comprehensivebroker and franchise policy manual and ensure compliance.
- Strengthen relationships withdistribution teams to ensure maximum market reach and minimize channelconflicts.
- Design growth strategies and trackingmechanisms to achieve sales targets.
- Identify new market opportunities andimplement expansion strategies for brokers and franchises.
- Develop sales and marketing budgets andwork closely with Broker Area Managers to resolve issues and maintain strongrelationships.
- Lead the development and execution of afranchise growth strategy, identifying potential franchisees and managing thesales process.
- Provide guidance and support to newfranchisees, ensuring alignment with operational standards and brandguidelines.
- Represent the company at industry eventsto promote the franchise opportunity and enhance brand visibility.
- Collaborate with the Learning &Development team to create broker training programs that enhance industryknowledge and business skills.
- Develop mentorship programs and ensurebrokers receive ongoing support from Area Managers and Broker Consultants.
- Foster a strong relationship withbrokers, ensuring their continued development and engagement.
- Regularly evaluate broker and franchiseremuneration models and recommend improvements.
- Implement compliance controls to ensurebrokers are properly licensed and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Monitor brand standards and ensure allmarketing and advertising materials are compliant with corporate identityguidelines
- Manage and mentor a high-performanceteam of Broker Area Managers, ensuring they achieve sales targets and adhere tocompliance standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning,development, and high performance within the team.
- Build and maintain a network of industrycontacts to bring new opportunities into the business.
- Develop and execute externalcommunication and marketing programs to engage brokers and promote thecompany's brand.
- Relevant tertiary qualification(Business, Marketing, Insurance, or related fields).
- FAIS compliance (Must be registered as aKey Individual with the FSCA).
- RE 1 certification.
- Minimum of 5 years in insurancemanagement, specifically with brokers or franchise networks.
- Proven experience in sales strategy development, franchise management ,and broker relationship management.
- Strong knowledge of insurancelegislation, compliance, and governance within the insurance sector.
- Demonstratedability to develop and execute broker development programs and traininginitiatives .
- Experience with risk management,compliance controls, and brand standards within the industry.
- Leadership experience in managing teams,fostering a high-performance culture, and driving business growth.
- Strong analytical, planning, andproblem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal,and leadership skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strategicrelationships with brokers, franchisees, and industry stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of sales growthstrategies, market expansion, and client relationship management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRMtools.
