The Role

We have an extensive range of luxury accommodation at Millbrook Resort, and this role involves ensuring guests are warmly greeted and a personalised experience is delivered. We are a collaborative team, delivering a high-end bespoke guest experience, whether it be assisting with luggage, delivering room service, undertaking security checks or providing luxury airport services from ZQN to Millbrook. No two nights are the same! The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a strong customer focus. We are looking for someone who is honest, responsible, and capable of working independently as well as part of a small team. Genuine passion for five-star service is essential, and the ideal candidate will be willing to provide hands on support to our wider Front Office function. Working hours will usually be between 11pm and 7:30am, scheduled across a 7 day operation including weekends and public holiday shifts as required.

Success Profile
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest service
  • Minimum of one year's experience in guest relations, ideally within a five-star environment
  • Strong guest service and communication skills, couple with a "can do" attitude
  • Ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines
  • Aptitude for figures and proven ability to handle cash and balance takings
  • Professional, confident and immaculately presented at all times
  • Knowledge of Agilysys System (Versa, Engage, Spa, Sales & Catering) is advantageous
  • Proactive, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Resilient and adaptable, able to respond calmly and effectively to a variety of situations
  • Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and shifts as required
  • A full, clean driver's license is essential
  • Current First Aid Response certificate is advantageous; however, we will support you to get qualified

Location: Arrowtown, Queenstown

Hours: Full time permanent (30/40 hours per week guaranteed)
