Job Summary The Operations Consultant is responsible for administering the return, disposal, and remarketing of vehicles within Absa Vehicle Management Solutions (AVMS). The role focuses on managing auction results, coordinating with disposal agents, compiling and submitting accurate operational and financial reports, and ensuring timely invoicing and stock reconciliation. The incumbent supports informed decision making, risk management, and financial control by ensuring that all disposal activities, reports, and stakeholder communications are executed accurately and within agreed timelines. Job Description Update and maintain disposal and stock reports in line with required reporting formats. Categorise vehicles by risk based on stock ageing and apply appropriate risk indicators. Reconcile disposal agent stocklists with internal systems and identify discrepancies. Prepare and distribute preliminary stock reports for physical stock counts. Submit reconciled and verified stock reports to Finance within required timelines. Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including: Daily UV Sales reports to monitor vehicle sales performance. Weekly auction reports to track auction sales and follow up on payments. Monthly UV Sales and stock reports in line with reporting deadlines. Ensure all reports are accurate, complete, and submitted according to defined frequencies. Generate proforma and system invoices for vehicle purchases. Ensure invoices are raised within required timeframes following approvals and receipt of funds. Support financial accuracy through timely and correct submission of reports and invoices. Liaise with disposal agents, Product Managers, Fleet Risk Consultants, and Finance. Provide accurate information to support approvals, risk assessments, and financial reporting.Education and Experience Required Higher Certificate or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification undefined Five (5) years or more experience within a Managed Maintenance and/or Operating Leasing and/or Fleet Management environment Experience in managing Risk, Asset Remarketing and Disposals within a Fleet Management environment Education Higher Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required) Absa Bank Limited is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer.
