PLANT OPERATIONS MANAGER PHASE 2 (DU)

Vedanta is a $30bn revenue and $10bn in profit organization and further plans to invest $20bn in 4-5 years' time in the expansion of their brown field and some green field capacity of Oil & Gas, renewable energy, display glass, semi-conductor, mining and smelting.

• Ensure production according to Business Plan and Mine Health and Safety Act 29 of 1996 and Regulations.
• Strategic Management of the Gamsberg Phase 2 Plant to promote continuous improvement.
• Commission of Plant from Project phase to full operational phase.
• Asset and maintenance management with a view to continually improve reliability thereof.
• Management of the Contractor Business Partners.

• BSc or BTech Degree in Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering.
• 10 years experience in a production environment of which 3 to 5 years should have been on a senior management level.
• In addition, MBA or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Must be able to obtain a Certificate of Medical Fitness.
