Job Description

Good Shepherd Lutheran College is a co-educational, non-government school for ELC to Year 12 students, with three campuses across Darwin: Howard Springs, Palmerston and Leanyer.

Applications are sought from a suitably qualified and experienced Primary Teacher to join the teaching team at Howard Springs Junior Campus on a permanent, full-time basis.

Primary Teachers provide an atmosphere for students to fulfil their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual and psychological growth. They are responsible for organising and implementing an instructional program that will result in students achieving academic success.

As a community, we inspire and equip students to flourish as compassionate, highly capable people who enrich the lives of others, guided by Christian values.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in the middle primary years and a strong understanding of the relevant curriculum areas. They will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to design, implement, and evaluate effective learning programs. A genuine passion for primary teaching is highly valued
