We are looking for a Junior QA Administrator to ensure that all fish products meet regulatory, safety and quality standards by coordinating inspections, managing compliance with NRCS requirements, facilitating sampling processes and administering the release of orders for local and export markets.

  • Department: Quality Assurance
  • Location: South Arm Road, V&A Waterfront
Regulatory Compliance & NRCS Liaison
  • Assist HACCP Officer and QA Administrator with all NRCS requirements
  • Submit required documentation for product approvals, permits and inspections
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety, labelling and export regulation
Inspection Coordination
  • Provide HACCP documents on client's request
  • Prepare documentation and production areas for inspections
  • Assist with addressing and following up on any non conformances or corrective actions
Office Administration
  • Utilize NAV to generate GRV purchase orders
  • Efficiently generate stores expenses for the QA maintenance and cleaning department
  • Liaise with service provider to calibrate instruments, service and maintain the accuracy of scales and mass pieces
Quality Records & Administration
  • Maintain quality assurance records, registers and compliance files.
  • Assist with preparation of all documentation relating to vessel audits.
  • Perform administrative task when required
Required Experience & Knowledge
  • 2 3 years' experience in quality assurance (preferably fishing or food production).
  • Knowledge of NRCS requirements and food safety regulations.
  • Food Safety certification is advantageous
