Job Description

Key Outputs
  • Compile, implement, manage and train all on the ISO and CC systems
  • Control and report on the corrective and preventive non-conformance system
  • Periodically audit the ISO and CC systems
  • Capturing of all incidents and preventative actions taken
  • Control calibration schedule
  • Compile all relevant audit and management review reports
  • Prepare for SABS and Caterpillar CC audits
  • Compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and OHSAS 18001
  • Accountable to minimize number of non-conformances
  • Monthly audit of the quality management and OHSAS systems
  • Reporting of incidents in the workplace
  • Compliance with the Caterpillar contamination control guideline (PEBJ 0002-05)
  • Ensure compliance with calibration of measuring and testing equipment
  • Responsible for regional certifications (ISO, CC, Caterpillar, etc)
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
  • Grade 12
  • One year's experience post qualification
  • Basic understanding of ISO and contamination control system
  • Qualified in relevant trade (heavy / earthmoving equipment Mechanic)
  • Basic understanding of ISO and contamination control systems
  • Analysis and reasoning (L1)
  • Attention to detail (L1) and teamwork(L1)
  • Verbal and written communication (including listening) (L2)
  • Organisational awareness (L2) and rule orientation (L3)
  • Building relationships (L1)
  • Computer Literacy (MS Office, SAP NCR system) (L2)
