Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced operating theatre nurse's to join our friendly, experienced and dynamic team. As a private hospital we offer a broad range of surgical specialties and are recruiting into the following specialties:

  • General/Vascular or Robotics
  • Ortho
  • Gynae/urology
  • Opthalmology
  • ENT/Maxfax
  • Plastics

There are part time and full-time vacancies depending on the specialty. We can accommodate part time hours between 0.4 to 1.0 FTE. Our Theatres generally operate Monday to Friday 0700 to 2100. Availability for some 10-hour shifts would be an advantage.

Desired Skills and Experience

A current NZ Nursing Registration and practicing licence is essential. In addition to a depth of experience in your specialty area you will:

  • Be passionate for and provide high quality perioperative care.
  • Have excellent supportive, engaging and positive team skills
  • Demonstrate a commitment to professional practice, and professional and personal development
  • Be an excellent communicator, facilitator and advocate for patients
  • Be able to work with all our Hospital teams in all aspects of our service

  • Have the initiative and ability to contribute to and support best practice standards.
