Job Summary The Assurance Officer is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and reporting of planned reviews for the Business Unit . They will work collaboratively with other members of the Assurance team to ensure that key controls identified to manage key risks within the organisation are adequate and operate effectively in mitigating the related risks. Job Description Key Responsibilities:• Work with the Assurance team to plan, execute, and report on planned reviews.• Review and analyze the key process, Risk and Control Assessments (RCAs) and other documentation to identify areas of risk and potential audit issues.• Prepare workpapers that support review conclusions and recommendations, including documentation of audit procedures performed, findings, and conclusions.• Assist with the drafting of review reports that clearly and concisely communicate the results of the audit to Business Stakeholders.• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with business stakeholders and other members of the Assurance team.• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and apply these to audit engagements.• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Risk Management, Auditing or related field.• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Life Insurance and Assurance.
