Supply Chain Analyst
Job Description
Do you get a kick out of turning messy data into clean, actionable insights? Does a well-structured spreadsheet bring you the same joy as a perfectly cable-managed build? If you just said yes to both, we should talk.
We're looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. Someone who's equal parts analytical and practical, and who can help us make smarter decisions about what we buy, when we buy it, and how it gets to where it needs to be.
Responsibilities- Data Analysis & Reporting: Building and maintaining reports in Excel and our internal databases to track stock levels, supplier performance, and logistics efficiency. You'll turn raw data into insights that actually drive decisions.
- Stock & Demand Trends: Monitoring sales and inventory data to identify trends, flag potential stock shortages, and help us stay ahead of demand.
- Purchase Orders: Assisting with the processing and tracking of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy from placement through to delivery.
- Logistics Coordination: Keeping our systems updated with shipment tracking, delivery schedules, and supplier timelines so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Supplier Liaison: Communicating with suppliers regarding orders, lead times, stock availability, and deliveries.
- Process Improvement: Identifying inefficiencies in our supply chain workflows and proposing data-backed improvements. If something can be done better, we want you to find it.
- Excel Power User: This is non-negotiable. You need to be highly proficient in Excel. Think VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and INDEX/MATCH. Spreadsheets aren't just a tool for you, they're a language.
- Analytical Thinker: You're the kind of person who sees patterns in numbers and asks "why?" before anyone else does. Strong logic and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Database Comfortable: Experience working with databases or large data sets is a big plus. If you've used SQL, Power BI, or similar tools, even better.
- Detail-Oriented: Accuracy matters in this role. A misplaced decimal or a missed delivery date can have a real knock-on effect.
- Tech Enthusiast: A solid understanding of computer hardware and the tech industry will help you make sense of the data you're working with.
- Proactive & Self-Driven: You don't wait to be told what to look into. If something looks off in the data, you dig in.
- Must be over 18 with own transport
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Must be able to work in Somerset West, Western Cape, full time
We're a tight-knit team of tech enthusiasts who work hard and genuinely enjoy what we do. Expect real tech talk, hot takes on the latest series/movies/games and a workplace with good vibes. And yes, staff get access to the latest components at special internal pricing, because the perks should match the passion!
