Job Description

A leading solar distributor, known for delivering innovative solar solutions, training, and installer support nationwide, is seeking a Technical Support Administrator to join their Technical Support team on a 3-month fixed term contract. This role is critical in maintaining seamless communication between clients and the technical team. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for incoming queries, manage ticket flow, and ensure systems remain accurate and up to date while technical specialists focus on resolution work.

Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming client calls and emails.
  • Log, assign, and monitor support tickets to ensure timely technical follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all support requests in the system.
  • Act as a communication bridge when technical staff are unavailable, ensuring clients remain informed and supported.
  • Maintain and update tracking tools to monitor issue progress and resolution.
  • Ensure all tickets are properly closed with confirmed client satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in customer support or technical administration is advantageous.
  • Strong computer literacy with good technical aptitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational ability.
