Vacancy: Weighbridge Operator - Cape Town, Western Cape

Our Client, a leader in the Logistics Industry, seeks to employ a Weighbridge Operator to join their dynamic team. Applicants must reside in and around the Cape Town area.

• Facilitate boarding of trucks at the weighbridge.
• Report any discrepancies and initiate corrective measures.
• Ensure that all drivers and visitors are wearing the appropriate PPE on site.
• Notify drivers when a vehicle is overweight.
• Perform housekeeping to designated areas.
• Weighing trucks from entry and exit and ensuring efficient data entry.
• Report problems and maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Prepare a report in which the weight and number of trucks are loaded for each shift.
• Perform other duties as required within the logistics.

• Grade 12 (Twelve).
• Weighbridge Operator certificate (Advantageous).
• Great attention to detail.
• Must be computer literate.
• Able to work shifts.
• Good time keeping and attendance record.
