Volpes - Floor Supervisor - Cape Gate
Job Description
- Provide ongoing feedback to the Store Manager regarding sales floor improvements.
- Ensure all customers are greeted and offered assistance promptly; staff should remain available and attentive.
- Monitor individual sales staff performance and report underperformance with suggested solutions to management.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge within all allocated departments.
- Ensure timely entry of customer orders into the order book.
- Oversee shelf stocking; communicate stock shortages to the Store Manager for reordering.
- Continuously monitor stock levels and replenish as needed throughout the day.
- Ensure all items are accurately priced, labelled, and shelf-talkers are correctly placed, report discrepancies.
- Immediately report and remove damaged stock from the floor, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
- Maintain attractive and updated merchandising displays across all store areas.
- Grade 11
- Minimum 2-3 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory
- Proven track record in customer service and sales performance
- Experience in stock control, merchandising, and staff supervision
- Merchandising experience
- Problem solving and analytical thinking
