About the role: We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Logistics Administrator to provide administrative and operational support to our trucking and shipping teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or college leaver to begin their career in international logistics and commodity exports. Our logistics team manages the movement of nickel and copper produced in Zambia to regional warehouses and export ports. This role plays a key supporting function to ensure the smooth flow of documentation, data, communication, and processes across the logistics chain. Key Responsibilities: The Logistics Operations Administrator's general accountabilities include, but are not limited to, the below:Administrative & Operational Support Assist the trucking and shipping teams with day to day workflow and documentation. Update internal systems with shipment, trucking, and export data. Maintain and update daily and weekly logistics reports. Check, scan, and file logistics documents (delivery notes, warehouse receipts, bills of lading, invoices, etc.). Arrange couriers for document collections and deliveries. Support scheduling needs, including booking boardrooms and coordinating internal meetings. Perform general office administration as required. Help ensure accuracy of shipment details recorded in systems. Communicate with internal teams and external partners when required. Ensure all information is captured accurately and kept up to date. Support the team with data preparation for operational reports and internal updates. Qualifications: Completed diploma or degree (Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, Admin, or similar preferred). Experience & Technical Skills Required: No prior work experience required-training will be provided. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook. Interest in logistics, supply chain, or commodity operations is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Good organisational and time management skills. Clear written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Proactive attitude with willingness to learn.
