Main Purpose of Job

The Educator presents and facilitates Higher Education and Training programmes and courses for Mediclinic students and employees to acquire competence as independent healthcare practitioners. They provide both classroom and practical staff training.

Key Responsibility Areas
  • Ensure compliance with Higher Education & Training and American Heart Association (AHA) standards
  • Design and assess learning material and interventions
  • Facilitate learning process, incl. theoretical and clinical facilitation
  • Coordinate and administrate student-related processes
Required Education Essential Education
  • Professional Nurse
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing Education (Nurse Educators)
  • Postgraduate Diploma in a Nursing Speciality, e.g. Critical Care Nursing / Emergency Nursing
  • Master's Degree in Nursing
