Job Title: Maintenance Worker

Location: Johannesburg (CBD)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker to join our team. The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the repair and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing or electrical systems, painting, and carpentry work.
  • Conduct inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds to identify maintenance need
  • Respond to maintenance requests from staff and tenants in a timely manner
  • Maintain proper records of maintenance work performed
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
  • Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and other seasonal maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications and Experience
  • NQF level 4 required
  • 2 to 3 years' experience
  • Experience/qualification in plumbing work or electrical work is advantageous
