Job Summary As a Senior Specialist: Performance Marketing, you will lead the design, execution, and optimisation of full funnel, omnichannel marketing strategies that deliver measurable business impact. This is a high visibility, high impact role that partners closely with strategic business units to drive pipeline growth, enhance client engagement, and accelerate Absa's digital marketing maturity. You will combine analytics, marketing technology, and creative execution to deliver personalised digital experiences for corporate, institutional, and high net worth audiences across Africa and beyond. Job Description Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and execute data driven performance marketing strategies that drive measurable growth across the marketing funnel. Lead integrated, omnichannel digital campaigns across paid, owned, and earned media. Use predictive insights, advanced analytics, and real time optimisation to elevate campaign performance. Digital Excellence & Innovation Leverage MarTech platforms, automation tools, and AI driven insights to enhance targeting, personalisation, and campaign agility. Champion A/B testing, experimentation, and continuous improvement. Enable account based marketing (ABM) strategies that support high value client engagement. Client Centric Delivery Translate behavioural data and client insights into relevant, personalised digital journeys. Ensure all campaigns prioritise value, clarity, and experience for B2B corporate and high trust audiences. Operational & Commercial Impact Manage media budgets, agency partners, and vendor relationships for maximum ROI. Establish performance dashboards, KPIs, and governance processes for always on optimisation. Ensure compliance with POPIA, GDPR, and internal governance standards. Leadership & Collaboration Influence cross functional teams across Brand, Digital, Analytics, Product, MCA, and Coverage. Mentor stakeholders and partners in adopting digital best practices and new technologies. Drive a culture of innovation and digital marketing excellence. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (NQF7) in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field (required). Postgraduate qualification and/or MBA/master's in digital marketing/communications (advantageous). Experience Requirements 8-10+ years in B2B marketing within corporate, financial services, fintech, SaaS, consulting, or similar environments. Proven success delivering measurable outcomes from multi channel digital campaigns. Experience in ABM, paid media, campaign optimisation, and digital analytics. Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo). Strong understanding of client behaviour, digital funnel dynamics, and competitive positioning. 3+ years people leadership experience preferred.
