WBHO Driver Opportunities in South Africa

A WBHO Driver operates light, heavy, and specialised vehicles to transport personnel, construction materials, plant equipment, and project supplies across building, civil engineering, roads, earthworks, and mining infrastructure project sites.

• Operate light, heavy, and specialised vehicles within construction, civil engineering, road, earthworks, and mining sites.
• Transport personnel, construction materials, plant equipment, and project supplies.
• Ensure safety compliance in accordance with WBHO's SHEQ standards and safety first culture.

• Driving Licence and Certifications - Code 8 (B) Licence for light vehicle roles; Code 10 (C) or Code 14 (EC) Licence for materials delivery, heavy haulage, and construction logistics; Professional Driving Permit (PDP) required for all commercial and project transport roles; Plant and Construction Vehicle Competency Certificate for specialised earthworks and construction vehicles; Abnormal Load or Crane Truck Permit (advantageous) for oversized transport; Dangerous Goods (Hazmat) Certificate (advantageous); Forklift Operator Certificate (advantageous); Defensive Driving Certificate required or strongly preferred.
• Education - Grade 10 minimum acceptable; Grade 12 (Matric) strongly preferred; No tertiary qualification required.
• Experience - 2-5 years of verified driving experience in the relevant licence class preferred; Prior experience in construction, civil engineering, roads and earthworks, or mining infrastructure strongly advantageous; Experience operating specialised earthworks vehicles, tipper trucks, abnormal load transport, or construction plant logistics is an advantage for senior driver roles; Clean, unendorsed driving record required; Clear safety record with no major workplace incidents required.
